Greg is a native of Lynchburg, Virginia who has made his home in the Outer Banks since 1984.  He has been playing professionally for over 35 years.  His talents have been showcased while sharing the stage with Mickey Gilley, Eddie Rabbit, Carl Perkins, and The Tams.  For many years Greg toured with "Spread The Word".  After settling in the Outer Banks, he joined the hottest little band on the beach - "The Neurocktix". Greg was also a founding member of the acoustic group - "The Wilder Brothers".  In 1998,  Greg and Rick Ostlund formed the rock trio - "Three's a Crowd".   Additional members were added over time and the band became - "The Crowd", a high energy dance band.   And now, Greg continues his creative endeavors by putting together The Greg Shelton Band.  His experience and talent lends him to be an outstanding musician in most any setting or genre.
